Who we are
Math For Maya is a children's maths practice app developed and published by BestDev. Its Android package name is com.simonsbs.mathformaya.

Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Math For Maya mobile app and this Math For Maya website. The app is designed for children ages 6 to 8. The maths practice works offline, while optional information and support links open this website in the device browser.
Information the app accesses, collects or shares
Math For Maya does not access, collect, transmit, sell or share personal or sensitive user data. In particular, the app does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers or account details
- Precise or approximate location
- Device or advertising identifiers
- Photos, videos, audio recordings, contacts or files
- Usage analytics, diagnostics or advertising data
- Exercise choices, answers, scores or progress
Exercise choices and answers are used only in the app's active session to run the maths activity. They are not sent to BestDev or stored on a developer-operated server.
Accounts
The app does not offer or require an account, login, profile or cloud sync.
Advertising, purchases and social features
The app has no advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid promotions, chat, social sharing or user-generated content.
Device permissions
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, files or health data. Applause is played from an audio file included with the app and does not use the microphone.
Third-party services
The app does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, account or cloud-storage services. Google Play distributes the app and may process store visits, downloads or purchases under Google's own privacy terms. That processing is controlled by Google and is not data collected through Math For Maya by BestDev.
Children's privacy
Math For Maya is intended for children and educational use. It is designed not to collect personal information from any user, including children. The app does not ask children to provide personal information and does not provide a way to communicate with other users.
Security
Because the app does not transmit personal or sensitive data to BestDev, BestDev does not operate a server that receives or stores such app data. The app is distributed through Google Play and uses the security protections provided by Android and Google Play.
Data retention and deletion
BestDev does not receive or retain personal data, account data, exercise answers or progress from the app. There is therefore no app account or developer-held user data to delete. A user can clear the app's temporary on-device state by closing or resetting the activity, or remove the app from the device by uninstalling it.
This website
This static website does not include forms, advertising, analytics pixels or tracking scripts. Cloudflare delivers the website and may process basic network and security information as part of providing its infrastructure service, subject to Cloudflare's own privacy terms.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the affected version is released. The effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
